Urban Myth Dissolution Center

Urban Myth Dissolution Center is a horror visual novel developed by indie developer Hakababunko and published by Shueisha Games. It was released on February 12, 2025 for Windows PC on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

Azami Fukurai has always struggled with seeing ghosts wherever she goes, all her life. One day, she spots an advertisement for a mysterious operation named the Urban Myth Dissolution Center, and hoping they'd be able to help her, decides to pay them a visit. What this ends up leading to is beyond anything she could have imagined.

As a Visual Novel, gameplay mostly consists of Point-and-Click segments not unlike Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and similar to that it features flashy end-of-segment sequences revolving around identifying and dissoluting the titular urban myths. Another feature differentiating it is Azami's ability to identify ghosts of the past allowing for minute investigation of the crimes as they occurred.
