Neighbears

Bears are the main non-playable characters (NPCs) of the game. They are anthropomorphic ghosts who have lost their memories and have been on the island for a long time. The player, a Spirit Scout, is tasked with helping them find peace.

Most bears are permanent residents of the island. They each have different specialties, such as collecting mail, crafting, and selling items. As the player helps them recover some of their memories by completing quests, the areas they live in will temporarily light up, and more of the lore of the island and its inhabitants is revealed.
