Are you a fan of any videogames who loves to collect images that we call decks? Then welcome to Sidequest TCG, an online TCG that focuses on different videogames from various consoles. We currently have 1080 active decks (+159 upcoming) with 43 active players (+1 pending). It was established on February 16, 2021 and it is currently maintained by saya. Interested? Collections

Implementing, withing the tcg, we are now Collections, it's an idea that we are bising on some other TCG's activities but making it ours, and in tune with the videogames! This collections will have various types for you to choose from and it involves you making list detemined by you to collect those decks!

First thing to say is there is 2 types of Collections:

  • Deluxe Edition
    • - 5 decks to be chosen to collect from the moment you apply for it
  • Collector Edition
    • - 10 decks to be chosen to collect from the moment you apply for it

REWARDS for finished Collections are for DELUXE - 10 random cards and 50 exp points while for COLLECTOR - 20 random cards and 100 exp points; also every 10th finished Collection will give you 4 potions a milestone (still deciding if sperate or not)

For starting you can have 3 collections at the same time, you can re-apply again once one it's finished or you can finish all 3 and then apply for 3 (for now this is the number we are going with, in the future there may be changes). This means you can have at the same time 3 collections which can be: 2 deluxe one colletor, 3 colectors or 3 deluxe or 2 collector and 1 deluxe; the mix is this, at same time max 3 Collections!

Type of Collections: Deluxe or Collector Editions


There are 13 types of the Collections you can choose from and they are listed here!


  1. Games
    2. - either the specific game or a game series
  2. Game Decks
    3. - these have to be chosen from the game category
  3. Mixed Characters
    4. - these have to be chosen from the characters category
  4. Female Characters
    5. - only girls are allowed on this collection
  5. Male Characters
    6. - only boys are allowed on this collection
  6. Relationships
    7. - these have to be chosen from the relationship category
  7. Scenes
    8. - these have to be chosen from the scenes category
  8. Genres
    9. - This goes hand in hand with the genre milestone so you choose genre (ONLY GAME DECKS ALLOWED)
  9. Color
    10. - decks of the same Main Color
  10. Voice Actors / Seiyuu
    11. - characters voiced by the same voice actor (doesn't matter which language) so if you chosose Ben Starr you know Clive from FF16 and Arthur from Warframe are the ones to be chosen
  11. Years
    12. - Periods or a certain year when the game came out (includes all categories)
  12. Sidequest Themed Decks
    13. - these have to be chosen from the SideQuest category
  13. Player's Choice
    14. - If you want something more "rigid" like just Pokemon or red headed or something that limits even more, here is your way of doing it


Starting a Collection

So once you choose what kind of Collection you want to do and which decks will be featured on you must know that, at the moment when you apply for it the cards in the deck have to be 10 or lower (so max is having 10 cards) for Deluxe Edition! But for the Collector Edition out of 10 decks, 8 have to be 10 or lower in ownin cards and 2 of the decks can be more cards or EVEN already mastered!

After you apply you will get a graphic including the list of your chosen decks with the image you chose and you will also get a master Badge for it once you finish the Collection!

There is two graphics you will have first when you apply you will have the checklist and then after finishing you will get the master badge!



FAQ


  • Can you put the same deck twice in the same collection?
    • - YES, you can have like 10 same decks (remasteries) for a Collector Edition and it would be ok!
